Our Projects

Afforestation & Environmental protection

The concept is to blend nature with the environmental and human factors to give maximum yield of produce and wildlife naturally. That is the modification of the environment in order to sustain livelihood, should be in line with nature defining principles, maintaining ecosystem interdependences and vertical and horizontal relationships.

The communities we work in are mainly inhabited by peasant farmers whose livelihoods depend on farming, especially vegetables, fruits, rice & cocoa farming. The community is affected with mass poverty, degradation of environment through illegal mining, women and youths unemployment, deforestation, desertification, and degradation of Agricultural land. The community is highly endemic with little or no economic activities but it’s abound with natural rainforest, wildlife, waterfalls and good soil for farming.

Some of the area falls within the high rain-forest zone on the South Eastern Ghana. The mountain is made up of undulating hills, high table lands and covered with many water tributaries from the peak of the summit into the Volta lakes. It covers an area of several thousand hectares of forestland, through it flows some noticeable rivers which has its origin in Republic of Togo and Burkina Faso. Its home to many species of

ï‚· Mammals (fruity bats, red & black flanked antelopes, two types of monkey species- baboons),   ï‚· Snakes (Africa pythons, Black cobra and viper)

ï‚· Birds (parrots, local eagles & hawks)

ï‚· Insects (butterflies and bees).

Four species example white breasted guinea fowl and white necked picathartes are solely restricted to the western subsection of the upper guinea forest.

Part of strategy is to train them in neighborhood stewardship, conservation agriculture, biodiversity and alternative sustainable livelihood.

Gender Equality & Youth Empowerment

Tackling the Issue

Global growth and poverty reduction over the next 20 years will be driven by today’s young people, yet many of them face significant difficulties in finding productive employment. Secondly, our inspiration comes from the profound statement by current Africa Development Bank (AfDB) President Akinwumi Adesina says that the next generation of billionaires will be farmers. The global economy will need to create millions of jobs each month simply to keep employment rates constant in the sub- Sahara region and particularly Ghana to reduce youth unemployment, rural-urban migration and illegal migration into Europe.

Promoting sustainable livelihood through agribusiness/ employment for women and the youths is a top priority and an issue of utmost importance for the Ghanaian people and authorities. For most developing countries, the last decade has been one of increasing difficulty -declining living standards, high unemployment rates, deteriorating services, increase social unrest and political instability. Now, even with the economic growth that Ghana is experiencing, not enough jobs are being created to integrate the young population into the labour market or engaged in self- employment services. Social factors such as gender, level of education and age also play an important role in making it difficult to find work.

We are providing for mainly women and the youths in rural Ghana and Africa-

  • Skills training in sustainable agriculture.

  • Incubation programs in sustainable agriculture.

  • Accelerated programs in sustainable agriculture.
